Meet Michael Dippel (@midippel) a Manufacturing Engineer from Troy, Ohio who has been 3D printing #earSavers for local hospitals and first responders across the nation which include Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, Texas and California. When Michael has a little bit of free time away from work, taking care of the family, and volunteering, he enjoys playing video games and finishing projects around the house.
“We recently had a lot of work done to our house so I’ve got plenty of finishing work to do. When I’m not doing that I like to tinker, between project cars, raspberry pi projects and atvs, there’s always something to do. I initially got involved when my mom shared a link to the ear savers, I was able to distribute about 300 of them to local hospitals and nursing homes. My wife is a nurse and we have many friends that have loved the ear savers. After that I was hooked, I ordered a second 3D printer and have had them running around the clock since.”
